Background

As the production mode of coal enterprises gradually turned from extensive pattern to intensive pattern, the coal enterprises come up with higher requirement on internal coordination, budget and performance management, resource integration, risk control and group professional service ability. In a word, production platform has to be not only more cost effective, but also with fine adaptability, reconfigurability and integratability. However, at present, due to lack of unified planning and design, the informatization construction in most of the coal enterprises have problems of scattered application, severe information island phenomenon and low work synergy degree. It has not achieved the original intention of informatization construction. Here are some existing problems in the informatization construction of coal industry:

 

1. Incorrect Construction Idea
Apart from technical factors, whether the informatization construction of coal enterprises can succeed largely depends on whether the advanced management idea can be combined well with the specific circumstance of the coal enterprise. The informatization construction of the enterprise is rather a management problem than a technical problem.

 

2. Non-standard Information Work Procedure
Most of the work procedures of the enterprises are formed naturally. During the implementation process, computer and digitization lack consideration for the work procedure of the enterprise. The information system is out of line with the enterprise process, which hindered rapid development of the enterprise, causing trouble for the development and maintenance of the information system; on the other hand, the work process in similar enterprises are different. 3. Lack of Unified Planning
The enterprise informatization is an improving process, therefore a planning on the system is required before enterprise informatization construction. Galadin MUP is an IT application framework set up by GreatWe aiming at the demand in each link of coal production procedure. It is one of the core systems of coal industry informatization construction. Compared with other coal enterprise production platform in the past, Galadin MUP has good adaptability, reconfigurability and integration. ●  Humanized management: SMS reminder for important events, automatically trace business processing process, enable the management to expediently master the safety and production dynamic of the group and coal mine in time.

 

Function Introduction
1. Galadin MES (Manufacture Execution System)
Galadin MES is the core business system of coal mine production. On one hand, it is responsible for converting the management decision of the company into actual production operation instruction, so as to direct the daily production activity of the coal mine; on the other hand, as production command center of the coal mine, it’s responsible for connecting with each professional automatic control system under the shaft, executing field safety monitoring and safety production command and dispatch and report field data to the group.

 

① Basic Data Management
 The content includes setting system default setting, maintaining basic information and preset approval process. It is responsible for the maintenance work of the basic information used in the production execution system.

 

② Coal Mine Reserve Management
 The function involves reserve unit management, parameter setting, achievement management, reserve evaluation, reserve annual report and reserve report, etc; it is responsible for the management of retained resource reserve of coal mine at end  of mining, and usage of resource reserve of coal mine in middle of mining, mine reserve loss , mine reserve dynamic change (including increase, decrease and change), temporarily unavailable (and transfer-out) reserve, etc.

 

③ Mining Engineering Data Management
Based on GIS (Geographic Information System) platform technology and responsible for the management of mining engineering basic data, including management of basic data and engineering data concerning coal work and coal tunneling face. The data involves information like working face coding, classification, name, trend, tendency, coal quantity, surrounding rock type, excavated section, designing workload, etc.

 

④ Geological Survey Information Management
 Based on GIS platform technology, responsible for the management of coal mine geological survey data and various geological professional graphics data, including stratum, geological prospecting, seismic survey line, drilling, sedimentary environment, and the management of coal seam data result, fault data, general resource, logging data, tilt survey data.

 

⑤ Production Scheduling
 Intensively monitor various subsystem of coal mine production (including: working face, main coal flow system, power system, drainage system, ventilation system, compressed air system, hoisting system, coal cleaning plant, waste stone exhaust system, etc.), responsible for schedule and direct the coal mine daily production operation according to production planning and field condition.

 

⑥ Safety Management
 Responsible for coal mine safety production management, including video monitoring, safety monitoring, and timely collect and manage safety information concerning coal production. It also involves environment monitoring (gas density, CO2 density, temperature, wind speed, water level, etc) and duct monitoring.

 

⑦ Record Management
 Record event status, activate relevant emergency plan according to the security incident and guide related personnel to deal with the incident in time.

 


2. Galadin PMS (Production Management System)
Galadin PMS is guided by the idea of delicacy management and devotes itself to construct safety production collaboration work platform between the Group Company and the coal mine. The system establishes safety production principal line, strengthens the coordination among coal production plan, succession plan and supporting plan of the enterprise. It emphasizes on cost control, coordinates and balances the resource within the group to realize stable, efficient and orderly production of the enterprise.


① Plan Management
 Responsible for the formation, approval and issuing of main production plan, production succession plan and supporting plan of equipment/material/power (including the involved progress plan, fund plan and resource consumption); Responsible for managing the annual, monthly and weekly plan of coal production; comprehensively balance the plans according to the feedback of coal production execution system and related situation of transportation, marketing and equipment maintenance.

 

② Production Scheduling
According to the monthly, weekly or daily coal digging and washing plan implemented from production plan and succession plan, in combination with the production of each subordinate coal mine, scheduling and coordinate to guarantee the safety, continuity and stability of coal production; balance and adjust the established plans according to change in the demand of transportation and sales and external market.

 

③ Operation Monitoring
According to data provided by production execution system and real-time monitoring information directly delivered from production control system and in combination with the execution of production plan, monitor the production and operation of coal mine.

 

④ Statistic Analysis
Through integration with production execution system and relevant system, obtain actual production and cost consumption data like row coal output, coal quality, material consumption, human resource cost. Analyze the data to assist the management decision-making.
