Server Solution
Server is a kind of high performance computer, which provides service to the client through the Internet. Server has high requirements on stability, security and performance. Currently, there are two system structures: x86 and non-x86. The general PC server (including rack-mounted server and blade server) belongs to x86 server, and it adopts Intel or other processor chips compatible to x86 instruction set and boasts for low price and good compatibility; minicomputer, large computer and other Unix servers belong to non-x86 server, and by using RISC (Reduced Instruction Set) or parallel instruction processor, they had more advantages in stability and performance.

Typical Server Scheme (as shown below) has more requirements on performance of database, so minicomputers are adopted for deployment; DNS server is simple for configuration and has lower requirements on performance, so rack-mounted server can be adopted considering cost; however, non-important businesses such as logs, traffic monitoring are too large to be installed together in one system, and it seems to be a waste to put each business into one server, so blade server can be adopted with each blade deploying one business to resolve of the conflict of space and cost.
