Tape Library Solution
Tape library is the storage medium of backup data. Tape library can be divided into physical tape library and virtual tape library. Physical tape library consists of multiple drivers, multiple slot positions and one mechanical arm. The dismantling and loading of tape is automatically done by the mechanical arm; hardware manufacturers apply software technology to virtualize the disk into tape library so as to realize the purpose of replacing disk with tape for data backup. From appearance and topological structure, virtual tape library resembles physical tape library, and its read/write performance is more advantageous.
